Before reading this site, I didn't really "get" that panic attacks & disorder manifests itself differently in children. This site explains how it does and what adults can do to react "well" to children with panic attacks/disorder.

If you think your child may have panic disorder this page is a great starter read. One great section on this page discusses what panic disorder looks like in children and adolescents but it breaks it down into how it looks differently at home, school, and the doctor's office. Treatments are discussed including counseling and medication. There is also a great link to a wide selection of resources as well.

this article was very helpful. it explains the panic disorder in different situations such as school and home, and it goes much more into detail than any other article i've seen
